Job Description

Now hiring a full time Brewer/Cellar person at Witch's Hat Brewing Company. Witch's Hat Brewing Company is looking for a creative and hardworking brewery production team member who possesses a strong knowledge and love of craft beer, a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. Job responsibilities include but not limited to: Responsibilities include: Hot-side work including brewing beer, mead and cider & recipe formulation. Cellar work including tank CIP/sanitization, beer transfers, carbonation, yeast management, filtering, keg cleaning and filling, tap line cleaning, oak barrel filling and maintenance, inventory and canning line operation (6-head Cask line). Quality assurance including sensory panels, diacetyl testing, yeast cell counts and viability testing, plating and maintaining organized records. Keeping a clean and show ready brewery is a must. Cleaning duties include daily equipment, parts and CIP cleaning and organizing along with daily surface cleaning (floors, tanks, walls, windows, walk in coolers) and biweekly draft line cleaning and maintenance. Equipment operation and maintenance (forklift, brewhouse, canning line, CIP pumps, filter, glycol chiller, draft and CO2 systems)
Requirements:
1 year of experience in a brewery environment and/or home brewing experience recommended. Following safety procedures, maintaining a safe work environment and positive work attitude is a must at all times. Must have good verbal and written communication and have a general knowledge of excel and google sheets. Ability to repeatedly lift heavy objects safely, including 55lb sack of malt, move kegs, crouch in tight spaces, and working safely with chemicals, pumps, hot water and high pressure. Must be hard working, organized, self-motivated, and must work well in a team and have reliable transportation to and from work. Hourly Pay. Based on Experience. Ready to fill the position
ASAP Pay:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
