Job Description

Brewer Reports to: Production Manager In just a few words: The Brewer is the primary person responsible for making and monitoring all beverages produced at the Maple Lake facility. Under the guidance of the Production Manager, they brew, manage cellar operations, and participate in packaging duties. The brewer must maintain accurate records, follow SOPs and recipes, and manage their own time effectively. Primary Responsibilities Production Brew Beer Wort production Cellar activities Operate centrifuge CIP / SIP, general cleaning Measuring, recording, data logging QA / QC Package Beer Operate Canning Line Act as packaging tech as part of packaging team Clean, Sanitize, and fill kegs Load / unload packaging materials Follow all SOPs, and help update SOPs at the discretion of the Head Brewer Perform routine maintenance and upkeep on all brewing equipment Follow all safety rules established by the Production Manager and Safety Committee Execute daily tasks as assigned by the Production Manager Planning / Logistics Assist in scheduling and planning future brews Assist in ordering ingredients and packaging materials Maintain accurate inventory Secondary Duties Help prepare for beer festivals, tastings, and events Optionally attend outside events, as a representative of the company Requirements Must have reliable transportation to Maple Lake Able to work while standing for long periods of time Able to regularly lift 55 pounds Able to maneuver, wheel, and occasionally lift 165+ pounds Compensation $22.00 - 26.00 / hour Full-time, typically 30-40 hours per week Eligible for full-time benefits
