Job Summary:
As our brewery's Cellar and Packaging Lead, you are key player in our brewing operations from fermentation to packaging. This hands-on position involves tank management, cleaning, transferring beer, and maintaining brewery equipment in a safe and sanitary environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform cellar operations including fermentation monitoring, dry hopping, fining, and carbonating beer CIP (Clean-in-Place) and sanitize tanks, hoses, and related brewing equipment Transfer beer from fermenters to brite tanks with strict attention to quality and sanitation Assist with packaging operations (canning, kegging, bottling) Monitor and maintain accurate records of fermentation, transfers, and cellar activities Follow SOPs and safety procedures diligently Assist with general cleaning and organization of the cellar and brewhouse areas Support the brew team as needed for other production-related tasks
Requirements :
Experience in a brewery production or cellar role preferred (can-filling operations would be great!) Strong understanding of sanitation practices and quality control in a brewery setting Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. and move 165 lb. kegs Comfortable working in wet, cold, and noisy environments Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills Passion for craft beer and a desire to grow within the industry
