Pay:

From $17.00 per hour + $15/day Travel Stipend during training

Job Overview:

Brooklyn Brands Inc. is relocating to NJ at the end of this year! We are hiring opening production team members for our brand-new, modern commercial bakery facility in Moonachie, NJ, launching fully in December. To prepare for our grand opening, hired candidates will undergo hands-on paid training alongside our experienced team at our Bronx, NY facility during our peak busy season in October and November.

Special Commuter Incentive:

During the 2-month training period at our Bronx facility, team members who work an 8-hour shift will receive an additional $15 per day Travel Stipend / Expense Reimbursement to assist with transportation costs. Once operations transition to Moonachie, NJ in December, work will be 100% based locally in Moonachie.

Key Responsibilities:

Cookie icing application (smearing), dough preparation, machine feeding, and shaping. Packaging, labeling, and boxing finished bakery items according to food safety and Kosher guidelines. Loading, unloading, and moving bakery racks and sheet pans. Maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitized workstation (GMP compliance).

Requirements & Qualifications:

Ability to reliably commute to Bronx, NY 10454 for training (October-November). Ability to reliably commute to Moonachie, NJ 07074 starting December.

Physical stamina:

able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40-50 lbs. Prior experience in food production, warehouse, or commercial kitchens is a plus, but entry-level applicants willing to learn are welcome. Dependability, punctuality, and team-oriented attitude.
