Job Title:
Processing Operator Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Process Operator responsible for mixing batches and processing raw materials. The role involves ensuring workstation cleanliness, preparing ingredients for batch making, weighing and scaling ingredients, and following formula sheets and software instructions to create high-quality products.
Shift/Pay:
4:00 am- 1:30 Mon-Thurs, need to be available for OT on Friday $21.54/hr Responsibilities Maintain workstation cleanliness, including washing down kettles, floors, and kitchen tools. Prepare ingredients for batch making by pre-scaling wet and dry ingredients, opening pails and buckets, and preparing ingredient slurries. Move drums and totes, manipulate air pumps for kettle additions, and compile manual-add ingredients on rolling carts. Weigh and scale ingredients for batch preparation. Manually add ingredients against the Formula Sheet to ensure batch quality and accuracy. Follow instructions of Formula Sheets and WonderWare software to create products within defined specifications. Utilize hand jacks to move pallets of ingredients, drums, buckets, and totes. Essential Skills Experience in production, machine operation, general labor, labeling, packaging, and general production. Additional Skills & Qualifications Excellent oral and written communication skills. Professionalism, problem solving, and attention to detail. Self-motivated with a strong dedication to success. Ability to work effectively in a team environment with a positive attitude. Participation in employee training related to GMP's, Health and Safety, and technical training for internal development. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Swedesboro, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.54 - $21.54/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
