Job Description
Job Summary Muranda Cheese is seeking tasting room associates for 2026! We are a family owned & operated cheese shop in Waterloo, NY. We host cheese tastings 7 days a week, live music on the summer weekends, and serve local Finger Lakes beverages to the public. We are looking to hire WEEK DAY and
WEEKENDS
(Saturday & Sunday) tasting room employees to help us through the busy summer season in the Finger Lakes. This is a great job for teachers, students, waitresses, retirees, anyone who wants to make some extra income!THIS IS A SEASONAL POSITION!
Base pay is $16.50/hour + tips. Tips are shared by all tasting room staff. We also offer an employee discount on cheese, merchandise, and beverages. We have a unique scheduling system that is quite flexible! This is a great perk of working at Muranda. Duties Hosting cheese tastings Serving beverages (must be 18+, we serve alcohol) Running a cash register Stocking local goods, beverages & cheese cooler Serving charcuterie at our cart Clean-up at end of shift (taking out garbages, cleaning cheese domes) Lifting small kegs/ cases of wine- must be able to lift 30-40# without restriction Any other duties required to help the farm during downtime
- folding boxes, packaging cheese, sorting merchandise, pricing pottery, cleaning Experience Working with the public
- customer service, hospitality, or a related field is preferred Cash register/ cash handling experience
- we use Square Working in fast paced environments, multitasking Basic wine & beer knowledge
