Nutritional Services Team Leader Cook II - Lead Quality Food Service Operations Are you an experienced food service professional who enjoys cooking, mentoring a team, and making a daily impact through quality nutrition and service? We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Nutritional Services Team Leader Cook II to support department operations while providing leadership, guidance, and hands-on expertise in food preparation and service. As a Nutritional Services Team Leader Cook II , you will help oversee daily department activities, support team members, and ensure meals are prepared and served according to the highest standards of quality, sanitation, safety, and operational excellence. This role is ideal for a skilled food service professional who enjoys leading by example and creating a positive team environment. Key Responsibilities Assist with the supervision and daily coordination of Nutritional Services Department operations. Provide direction, support, and guidance to employees throughout the day. Prepare and serve food while ensuring high standards of quality, accuracy, presentation, and safety. Promote proper food handling, sanitation practices, and compliance with department guidelines. Assign tasks and help coordinate workflow to ensure efficient operations. Support team members through coaching, instruction, and effective role modeling. Ensure required documentation and operational forms are completed accurately and timely. Identify operational concerns, assist with problem-solving, and make recommendations for improvement. Help maintain a positive, respectful, and teamwork-focused department culture.
