Dynamic Tasting Room Associate

Job DescriptionDay Wines produces a wide variety of wine styles sourced from some of Oregon s most celebrated AVAs. We also strive to create a welcoming, fun and dynamic tasting experience for guests. We are seeking a warm, hospitable and passionate Tasting Room Associate to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Open and close tasting room while following guidelines and procedures-Maintain cleanliness in the tasting room & kitchen throughout the day (glass washing/polishing, cleaning/restocking bathrooms, etc.
• Provide wine tastings while sharing knowledge on our wines/brand/wine club-Handle purchase transactions and use our point-of-sale system effectively (Wine Direct
• Assist in special events such as wine club pick-up parties and occasional offsite events-Maintain a professional appearance and social demeanorQualifications
• 21 years of age or over-Able to lift 45+ pounds (a case of wine
• Able to stand and/or walk for extended period of time-A genuine enthusiasm for customer service-An interest in & passion for wine, and comprehension of the Willamette Valley (preferable but not required

• Part/full time (Four days weekly), must be available weekends (25-32 hours a week
