We're hiring an entry-level Brewery Operations Associate to join our production team primarily in Ambler with limited hours supporting Lansdale. This is a hands-on, on-your-feet job that touches every step after the beer is brewed: cellaring, kegging, canning, keg cleaning, and delivering our beer to our Lansdale brewpub and wholesale accounts. No formal brewing experience required, but is a plus. What we need is someone reliable, careful, and eager to learn the craft. ............................................................

ABOUT WELL CRAFTED

Well Crafted Ambler is our production brewery and taproom in Ambler Yards, opened in 2022, with an indoor/outdoor taproom, beer garden, and on-site food truck. It's where the majority of our beer is made. Our original location in Lansdale, open since 2018, is a brewpub with a restaurant and live entertainment. We're a small, independent team that cares about quality, customer service, and doing things the right way. ............................................................

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You'll report to the Head Brewer / Production Manager and work primarily out of Ambler, occasionally in Lansdale.

A typical week includes:

Cellar Monitor tank temperatures and fermentation daily and log readings Pull samples and run simple tests — gravity, pH, and record results Transfer beer between tanks and keg finished beer Keep the cellar clean and organized, including cleaning tanks, hoses, and fittings Packaging Cleaning kegs. Help run canning days — setup, package, palletizing, clean, and teardown Track packaged inventory and keep the cold box organized ​​ Deliveries Drive scheduled deliveries of kegs and cases to Lansdale and to wholesale accounts 1-2 days per week. Load and unload safely, collect empty kegs, and keep delivery paperwork and invoices in order Maintain a friendly, professional face of Well Crafted with our accounts Transport spent grain from the brewing process. General Cleaning in brewery as required Receive deliveries of grain, hops, and supplies and put them away Follow all safety procedures for chemicals, CO2, forklifts/pallet jacks, and pressurized vessels Pitch in on events and taproom needs when production is slow ............................................................

WHO DOES WELL HERE

Reliable and punctual — the brewery runs on a schedule Detail-oriented — reads gauges carefully, logs numbers accurately, and notices when something's off Comfortable with physical, repetitive work and able to work in cold or hot conditions depending on the season and task. Curious about how beer is made and wants to grow into a brewing or packaging role Works well independently and takes direction well ............................................................

REQUIREMENTS

21 or older (required to transport and handle alcohol) Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; comfortable driving a box truck and cargo van Able to lift 25 lb cases repeatedly and move full kegs (up to 160 lbs) using proper technique and equipment Able to stand, bend, and climb for a full shift Basic math and comfort with simple measurements and record-keeping Availability Monday-Friday during production hours, with occasional weekends for events or canning. Ideal candidate would have partial weekend availability Nice to have: brewery, warehouse, or delivery experience; forklift or pallet-jack experience; homebrewing ............................................................

SCHEDULE

Full time, 40 hours per week, typically Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:30 pm. Delivery days and canning days may run longer; occasional weekend event support. ............................................................
