—ROVING OPERATOR
Location:
Inman, SC Pay:
$16.00/hourShifts:
Must be open to 1st or 3rd shift We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our team as Roving Operators !Job Duties:
Patrol front and back of roving frame. Take empty drawing cans from back of roving frame and load to can conveyor. Take full drawing cans from can conveyor and push to back of roving frame. Creel full cans at the back of the roving frame. Piece-up ends at both front and back of the roving frame. Once roving packages are full (8 to 9-pound package), remove from roving spindle and place in metal buggy. Remove up to 96 packages per doff, twice per shift, per frame (Operator may be assigned up to 2 frames per shift). After doffing full package, replace spindle with new empty bobbin. Wipe down front of roving frame with brush twice per shift. Put sliver and roving waste in proper waste containers. Keep empty plastic bags (covers for full drawing sliver cans) off floor.What We're Looking For:
Reliable attendance and punctuality. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Manufacturing or production experience is a plus, but not required. Must be flexible and willing to work either 1st or 3rd shift.Starting Pay:
