Job Description

Part-Time Tasting Room Associate Shelburne Vineyard is seeking two responsible, motivated, and quick-learning individuals to join our team as Part-Time Tasting Room Associates. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking for flexible part-time work, including retirees. Weekend availability is required. Compensation includes an hourly wage plus tips, plus wine club bonuses with typical earnings ranging from $20-$40 per hour, depending on business levels. No wine experience is necessary. We're happy to teach the right person about the world of wine and everything needed to be successful in the role. Primary Responsibilities
  • Welcome guests and create a warm, professional experience
  • Host tastings and help guests discover wines they'll enjoy
  • Share the story of Shelburne Vineyard, our wines, ciders, and sustainable farming practices
  • Prepare and serve light food offerings, including cheese boards
  • Set up and break down private events and our live music series (3-4 shows each week)
  • Stock wine, merchandise, and supplies
  • Clean and maintain the tasting room
  • Work as part of a team and jump in wherever needed Qualifications
  • Friendly, upbeat, and outgoing
  • Dependable and team-oriented
  • Quick learner with strong communication skills
  • Previous restaurant, bar, winery, or hospitality experience is preferred but not required
  • An interest in wine is a plus, but we'll train the right person What We Offer
