18+ Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker's gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more. Our state-of-the-art Sweets Bakery located in La Crosse, WI produces over 60 varieties of sweet good and bread products for approximately 800 retail stores. Kwik Trip customers are able to enjoy everything from mouth-watering muffins, turnovers, bagels, cookies, to our famous Glazers. Join our Bakery Production crew where you will be trained to operate the various pieces of bakery equipment used to make these delicious products from start to finish.
Work Schedule:
Sunday through Saturday rotating days off working 2:30am to 12:30pm (Same two days off during the week and work every other weekend.) Days off are Mondays & Tuesdays Week 1: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Week 3: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday Week 4: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Schedules are subject to change. Additional schedules may also become available.
Qualifications:
Accurate/detail orientated; work in a fast-paced production environment; basic math aptitude; work well alone/as part of team; willing to learn/perform a variety of job tasks; work in a noisy environment frequently; work in a safety conscious environment; adhere to sanitation/hygiene standards. Prior production experience is a plus. Prior experience in baking is a plus.
Physical qualifications:
stand/walk up to 10 hours per shift; bend/reach/twist constantly; lift/carry 50 pounds to 60 inches frequently; work in temperatures of 70-90+ degrees F; kneel/squat occasionally; push/pull up to 87 pounds of force occasionally; lift/carry 15 pounds to 72 inches occasionally.
Benefits:
Starting rate of pay: $18.00 per hour
Weekend Premium Pay:
