Position Snapshot:
Join our Production Team NLEA Operator 3rd shift team! 3rd shift is from 5:20pm-5:30am Starting rate of pay $29.28 per hour $1.50 per hour shift differential 12 hour shifts Teams Schedule Comprehensive Benefits Package after 30 days of employment Position Summary The NLEA Operator plays a vital role in ensuring food safety and product quality by verifying that pizzas are properly labeled and meet company specifications. This position is responsible for monitoring labeling systems, conducting quality checks, testing equipment, and maintaining accurate production records to help ensure products are safe and ready for consumers. Key Responsibilities Verify that all pizzas have the correct nutritional labels and stickers applied, and that labels are present, accurate, and readable. Perform routine metal detector (LOMAS) tests to ensure equipment is functioning properly and food safety standards are met. Conduct product weight audits using computerized systems to confirm pizzas meet specification requirements. Set up, operate, program, monitor, and tear down labeling and metal detection equipment. Inspect products for quality issues and properly box, label, and document damaged or rejected pizzas. Maintain accurate production and quality records. Assist team members and support other departments as needed. Keep work areas, equipment, and tools clean, organized, and safe. Follow all company policies, food safety requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and workplace safety standards. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Ability to follow detailed procedures, quality standards, and food safety requirements with strong attention to detail. Basic computer skills and the ability to learn and operate production software and manufacturing equipment. Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-based manufacturing environment. Basic English communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently, as well as bend, stand, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Ability to work 12-hour shifts in both hot and cold production environments.Benefits:
