JOB PURPOSE

This position is responsible for ensuring that all accounting activities in the Cage Vault are performed accurately and efficiently in accordance with all regulations of the Gaming Commission, Federal and State laws and established policies and procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES 1.

Directs assigned staff in compliance with all applicable internal policies, procedures, gaming regulations and external agency requirements. 2. Accesses funds and ensures prompt distribution to appropriate areas. 3. Assists with the coordination of audits relating to bank boards, customer deposits and rotation logs. 4. Ensures the integrity of all financial data produced by employees under his/her span of control. 5. Assists the Cage Vault Manager with implementation of policies and procedures. 6. Helps set schedules and job duties while maintaining hours for proper staffing. 7. Maintains the highest level of confidentiality. 8. Initiates and maintains communication with subordinates, employees, management, and other departments in facilitating the flow of information throughout the property. 9. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. 10. Deal tactfully with guests when handling unexpected situations, finding solutions that ensure customer satisfaction with minimal financial impact on Casino operations. 11. Communicates effectively with co-workers, management and guests. 12. May be required to perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 1. High school diploma or GED, and a minimum of 4 years of experience in cage, vault, credit operations or related area. Supervisory experience required. 2. Must be extremely numbers oriented and computer literate with superior spreadsheet skills. 3. Must be reliable, punctual and cooperative with co-workers and managers. 4. Maintain a professional and even tempered demeanor in a high stress environment. 5. Ability to work in areas containing high noise levels and second hand smoke.

LANGUAGE AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS 1.

Ability to prepare, read, and interpret documents; write reports and correspondence; and speak and communicate effectively with individuals and before groups of people. 2. Ability to compose grammatically correct documents. 3. Ability to verbally communicate using appropriate English standards of language.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts and perform mathematical functions applicable to business needs.

LICENSING

Must be able to qualify for any and all licenses or permits required by local, State, Federal and/or Wyandotte Nation law.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 1. Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry 35lbs in emergency situations. 2. Ability to function in a smoking environment. 3. Employee smoking is restricted to outside location and during break times. 4. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. 5. The noise levels in the work environment are constant. 6. Ascend/descend flights of stairs to access office and break areas throughout work day. 7. Ability to sit, stand, and walk for entirety of shift as required to conduct normal assigned duties. 8. Efficiently function in an environment with blinking/blinding lights.
