Full Job Description Description:
Responsible for all operations of Race and Sports book. Ensure all Team Members are properly trained and up to date in regards to all policies and procedures. Ensure that all Gaming Control Board rules and regulations are adhered to at all times. Maintain all 6A Regulations and Race and Sports Internal Controls and administer quarterly and yearly trainings to Team Members. Administer all department policies and guidelines as needed. Supervise all procedures and controls for the department. Safeguard Company assets. Supervise and direct Team Members in a positive, constructive manner. Ensure statistical reports are maintained and that they are accurate and updated as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum age requirement is 21. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members, and Management. Minimum one (1) year experience as a Race and Sports Book Lead Cashier or Writer. Understand of pari-mutuel and Book Holding Percentages. Ability to hand pay Guests without assistance of computer system. Understanding of all Race and Sports wagering terminology and ability to communicate all information to Guests in an understandable manner. Proficient in Microsoft, Excel, Word and spreadsheet applications.
