Must have excellent communication skills, organizational and team building skills along with proven leadership and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to work any shift as needed or assigned. (Includes weekends/ Nights/ and holidays) as scheduled. Position requires a high school diploma or G.E.D. Minimum of two years' experience as a slot supervisor or higher. Candidate must have the ability to pass extensive background checks in accordance with Kaw Nation Gaming Commission regulations to obtain a gaming license and pre-employment testing and must be self motivated and able to work independently. Responsibilities and Duties The Manager on Duty is responsible for the monitoring of the employees and Guest disputes. Making sure all machines are in good running order. Any questions or concerns should be directed to your immediate supervisor for clarification. Assist with the proper training of employees. Provides input to the Lead MOD concerning operational deficiencies and areas in need of attention. Shall provide orientation to and continuously train new floor employees in the skills necessary to successfully meet the guests' needs on the casino floor and other casino amenities whenever necessary. In the absence of the Lead MOD the Manager on Duty must possess the strong leadership and problem solving, skills needed to control the operation of a gaming establishment as the acting General Manager, keeping the General Manager informed of any problems that arise out of the ordinary. Property shift manager works to ensure guest satisfaction and frequently provides recommendations on improving effectiveness of casino operations and, also ensures team members comply with company standards. During staff shortages, MOD's may need to fill positions as needed. Responsible for all paperwork and reports being accurate and legible. Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with guests, management, employees, and members of the business community in all situations. A property shift manager must exhibit, a courteous and professional attitude at all, times. Additionally, property managers should possess effective interpersonal communication skills. Resolve disputes with guests and employees. Responsible for monitoring employees. Make sure all machines are maintained and in working order and in compliance. Knowledge of Mic/Tics and ability to recognize inconsistency that could lead to violations. Constant mental alertness is needed. Interacts with guests in a pleasant, professional, and friendly manner. Ensures that exceptional internal and external guest service standards are always number one. Always maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. Assist fellow employees when needed. Be always courteous and professional to co-workers, guests, vendors, or anyone you may have contact with while on duty. Must wear your gaming badge on upper left quadrant at all, times while on duty or conducting company business. Perform other duties that may be assigned by immediate supervisor.
