Waterpark & Arcade Supervisor Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Responsible for the daily supervision and operation of the Waterpark and Arcade. Ensure the safety of all waterpark guests by enforcing facility rules and maintaining a safe environment. Practice and enforce certified lifeguard guidelines and safety procedures at all times. Implement and coordinate emergency action procedures when necessary. Supervise lifeguards and arcade attendants to ensure they are performing their duties safely and professionally. Conduct regular patrols of the waterpark and arcade to ensure all areas are operating efficiently. Monitor activity levels, guest behavior, and noise levels throughout the facility. Provide exceptional guest service by responding promptly to guest questions, concerns, and complaints. Assist with opening and closing procedures for the Waterpark and Arcade. Maintain cleanliness and organization of all recreation areas, equipment, and staff areas. Assist with general pool maintenance, including monitoring water chemistry and reporting maintenance concerns. Perform routine inspections of attractions, slides, arcade games, and safety equipment. Distribute life jackets, towels, and other guest equipment as needed. Ensure staff are following company policies, safety standards, and operating procedures. Train, coach, and mentor new and existing employees. Assist with employee scheduling conflicts, shift assignments, and rotation management. Complete incident reports, accident reports, and daily operational documentation. Monitor staffing levels and communicate staffing needs to management. Assist with inventory, ordering, and organization of recreation supplies and equipment. Help troubleshoot and report arcade game malfunctions and coordinate basic repairs when appropriate. Assist the Director and Assistant Directors of Recreation by covering supervisor shifts as needed. Ensure staff compliance with policies, procedures, and Red Cross standards. Promote teamwork and maintain a positive, professional work environment. Assist guests and fellow team members whenever needed. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Must maintain flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Qualifications Previous lifeguard and supervisory experience preferred but not required. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions during emergency situations. Ability to stand, walk, swim, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a warm, humid environment. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to lead by example. Must have flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
