Job Description
Job Summary The Bingo Gaming Associate is responsible for a variety of duties in Bingo and Slot Operations, including greeting guests; informing guests of special promotions; answering questions; performing cashier functions for bingo related products; selling pull tabs to guests; and performing basic repair of bingo gaming machines. Job Description
- Counts and verifies cash from vault cage cashier at the beginning of shift.
- Counts and verifies inventory of special game sheets, paper, pull tabs, daubers and other bingo related products at the beginning and ending of shift.
- Sells bingo games and pull tabs to guests. Enters sales into Epic System and performs cash handling transactions.
- Calls back winning numbers to the Bingo Caller.
- Pays Bingo and pull tab winners. Secures payment from the Bingo Cage Cashier for single winners of $25 or more.
- Answers the Bingo Reservation line and takes reservations for Fixed Base Units.
- Responds to guests questions regarding Bingo Rules, programs, and promotions. Informs guests of current and future promotions.
- Balances the sale of the pull tabs at the end of shift and reports any discrepancies (shortages or overages) on appropriate documentation.
- Deposits cash to the vault cage cashier at the end of the shift.
- Performs basic repair of bingo gaming machines and related equipment such as paper fills, ticket jams, bill validator errors, bill jams, monitor adjustments and resizing, and Bally I-View functions.
- Maintains accurate documentation of repair log during shift.
- Responds to calls in a timely manner.
- Protects company assets and reports any fraudulent activity.
- Understands and practices good safety and sanitation procedures.
- Complies with all governmental laws and regulations and all casino and departmental policies and procedures, including Title 31 Regulations, Minimum Internal Control Standards, and Tribal Gaming Commission Regulations.
- Performs all related and compatible duties as assigned.
- Does not provide supervision to others.
- High school diploma or general education degree preferred.
- Six or more months related experience and/or training.
- Cash handling experience.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Must be motivated and sales oriented.
- Knowledge of computer systems.
- Knowledge of gaming machines and player tracking systems preferred.
- Knowledge of OMNI System preferred.
- Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records
- Ability to multi-task, work in a fast paced, high stress environment
- Must be a self-starter, punctual and able to adjust to change
