Job Description

Job Summary RV Park Associate will interact directly with guests patronizing the park and requires professional appearance and mannerisms at all times. Ensures RV Park guests receive exceptional and friendly service to enhance their stay and/or return visits. The duties include front desk, park facilities, and general store. Job Description
  • Answers all inquiries whether directly or on the telephone, providing detailed and accurate information on the RV Park.
  • Ensures excellent guest satisfaction that creates return visits through prompt, efficient, and friendly service. Informs supervisors and/or team members from other departments as needed.
  • Maintains knowledge and communicates important information about the casino, including shuttle service, promotions, events, V Club benefits, all gaming area locations, restaurants, and VOC information.
  • Accurately registers guests into the RV Park management system, and accepts payment as outlined by operational procedures.
  • Upon check in, provides guest with information or assistance as needed regarding RV space location, maps, and special offers/coupons available during their stay, special events scheduled, and other Viejas amenities.
  • Occasionally drive through the park to promote adherence to safety rules and regulations to protect guests from injury, risks, or hazards. Promptly report safety concerns to Supervisor.
  • Operates cash register, gives change, and balances cash drawer at the end of shift.
  • Handles and controls all secure assets and functions as required, including verify cash bank, prepare cash report, and follow credit card verification procedures.
  • Prepares daily reports, reconciles daily business, balances accounts, and reconciles credit card accounts for management
  • Stocks shelves, counters, or tables with merchandise.
  • Calculates sales and/or coupon discounts to determine price. Accepts payment and makes change as appropriate.
  • Must be present for inventory counts as requested.
  • May be required to input new inventory items in system (training provided).
  • Ensures that a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment is maintained.
  • Adheres to all company and department policies, procedures, and standard operating guidelines.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Does not provide supervision to others.
  • High school diploma or General education degree (GED) required.
  • 2 years of cash handling experience.
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of property management desirable.
  • Cash register skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to adjust to and manage change effectively.
  • Must be dependable, timely and have high attention to detail.
  • Must be flexible to work different shifts, evenings, and holidays.
