Job Description
The Steward is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all kitchen equipment, chinaware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans, and work areas and for replenishing supplies with clean ware. Clears all food and beverage outlets of dishes, flatware, and related items. Maintains the cleanliness of outlets and all kitchen equipment, chinaware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans, and work areas. Replenishes supplies with clean ware. Complies with all department and company rules, regulations, policies, procedures, internal controls and government rules and regulations. Performs all duties in a safe and careful manner. Assists service Attendants as necessary. Attends periodic meetings and training sessions. Picks up mats from various outlets and transports to be cleaned and returned to the respective kitchens. Breaks down all kitchen equipment for cleaning using approved chemicals by the company. Complies with all department and company rules, regulations, policies, procedures, internal controls, and government rules and regulations. Provides outstanding customer and employee service at all times. Presents oneself in a neat and clean appearance at all times. Performs other duties as assigned.
