Duties Operate pressing machines and equipment safely to press clothing items efficiently and accurately Inspect garments for wrinkles, stains, or defects before pressing and notify supervisors of any issues Follow specific garment care instructions to ensure proper handling of different fabrics and materials Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are in optimal condition Assist with laundry, dry cleaning, and other cleaning tasks as needed to support overall garment maintenance Handle customer requests professionally, providing courteous service and ensuring satisfaction Record transactions accurately when processing payments or handling cash during customer interactions Skills Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is highly desirable Knowledge of dry cleaning, laundry processes, and garment care techniques Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Ability to perform cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining safety standards Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and transaction processing Excellent attention to detail to ensure garments are pressed perfectly every time Good physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift garments throughout the shift high school diploma or GED This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to deliver exceptional service in a lively setting.
