A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

  • Responsible for maintaining hygiene, cleanliness, and supply levels in restrooms during operational hours.
  • Job Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Sanitization:
    Regularly cleaning and disinfecting high-touch surfaces, toilets, urinals, and sinks to meet health standards.
  • Restocking:
    Monitoring and refilling consumables such as hand soap, sanitizer, paper products, and toiletries.
  • Maintenance & Safety:
    Promptly addressing spills or wet floors to prevent slip hazards and reporting any plumbing or maintenance issues.

Waste Management:
Emptying waste receptacles and ensuring the area remains free of debris
Job Requirements:
  • Education:
    High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience:
    6
  • 12 months of janitorial, maintenance, or general labor experience preferred.
  • Physical Demands:
    Must be able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), bend, and stay on your feet for long periods.
  • Skills:
    Familiarity with cleaning supplies, chemicals, and basic hand tools.

Background check & work authorization required.
