Job Description

Description Position Summary:
Is responsible for repairs and maintenance of all the slot machines. Adhere to all company and department policies and procedures as well as all the Company's Practices (i.e. Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct, Core Values, 15 Points of Service, etc.) as well as state mandated laws, Gaming Regulations and Requirements. Must be able to handle a flexible schedule. Must possess strong teamwork skills as well as to act independently in high-energy diverse environment.
Essential Functions:
1. Maintains basic slot repairs. 2. Provides a high level of guest service. 3. Performs machine installations, game conversions and relocations. 4. Replaces revoked and/or obsolete slot machine software. 5. Completes set-up parameters for new machines and/or game conversions. 6. Maintains and repairs slot machines. 7. Maintains a clean and safe work environment. 8. Maintain proper uniform. 9. Protect company assets. 10. Check daily the OOS log. 11. Assist with jackpot and hand pays when needed; offer new players card or replacement. 12. Provide timely and responsible cocktail service to guests in designated areas of the slot floor. 13. Communicate and promote co-worker and Guest relations; maintain professionalism while working with the guests and other team members. 14. Speaking, visualizing and listening to Guests are an extremely important part of the GSS's service job description.
Minimum Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. 1. Must manage time effectively with minimum supervision. 2. Ability to make quick judgment decisions. 3. Requires adherence to all company and department policies and procedures as well as all the Company's Practices. 4. Must be able to handle a flexible schedule. 5. Ability to work with the desired level of detailed service and attentiveness. 6. Must have a valid Driver's license. . Education and/or
Experience:
Must manage time effectively with minimum supervision. Previous customer service experience. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both in written and verbal form. High School Diploma/GED equivalent. Working with basic hand tools. Basic computer skills.
WORK CONDITIONS
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and property, including walking up to 1 ½ mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/workstation for the duration of the shift. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis. Able to work in a smoke-filled environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but will escalate during periods of peak business. You must wear casino uniform if supplied. $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
