$16.00 per hour The Rescue Mission is seeking a reliable and customer-focused ADC Attendant (Part-Time) to support our donation centers. This role is essential to creating a welcoming and positive experience for our donors while ensuring donations are handled efficiently and accurately. Position Summary The ADC Attendant assists in the donation process by greeting donors, offering assistance, issuing receipts, and thanking donors for their contributions. This position also supports donation sorting, housekeeping, and recordkeeping responsibilities while working independently in various locations and weather conditions. Key Responsibilities Provides excellent customer service by greeting donors with a smile and hello. Assists donors, distributes tax receipts, and thanks them for their donations Provide donation receipts and thank donors for their support Maintain accurate donor counts and timesheets Perform general housekeeping duties inside and outside the donation center Prepares donations to be sent to the warehouse by sorting clothing, bric-brac, and small appliances in bin items. Promotes a safety first attitude by setting a positive example and ensuring all employees are following safety policies and procedures. Travel to multiple locations as needed (Auburn and Dewitt) Work weekends as required Qualifications & Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to work in varying weather conditions (summer and winter) Strong customer service or retail experience preferred Ability to multitask and work efficiently with minimal supervision Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented About The Rescue Mission Since 1887 , The Rescue Mission has put love into action through food, shelter, clothing, and life-changing support for those in need.
