Job Description

Job Summary:
The Count Team is responsible for completion of the daily casino machine cash collection (drop) and assisting in keeping all gaming machines in working order. DUTIES And Responsibilities
  • Must pull all money (canisters) from all electronic gaming machines on each drop day and replace with empty canisters.
  • Ensures that company assets are secure during the drop process.
  • Verify and count all casino gaming machine monies balancing totals in preparation for daily deposit; ensures that all currency and tickets are properly counted and recorded.
  • Responsible for ensuring all wraps and weighs are accurate and completed in a timely manner.
  • Maintains daily gaming machine maintenance log by entering all pertinent information regarding specific gaming machines as needed.
  • Communicate with Count Manager and EGM Techs of any machine issues and/or repairs that may be needed.
  • Must maintain a professional work environment with supervisors, management, and co-workers.
  • Meets attendance guidelines of the job, adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
  • Attend all necessary training meetings and assist in other projects as directed.
  • Performs other clerical duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, the requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Must be a minimum of 18years of age upon employment.
  • High school diploma or its equivalent required.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills.
  • Must possess a working knowledge of the casino gaming machines.
  • Must be able to count large sums of money accurately and quickly
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English; must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
  • Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with others.
  • Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid Key license through the QNGA.
  • Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

  • Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for long periods of time.

  • Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and effectively deal with customers, management, employees, and members of the business community in all situations.
