Your energetic and friendly demeanor will set the tone for an exceptional dining experience, managing reservations, coordinating seating, and ensuring smooth guest flow. This vital role combines excellent communication skills with organizational prowess to deliver top-tier guest services in a fast-paced environment. As a Host, you'll be instrumental in fostering positive guest relations and supporting the overall hospitality experience. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a positive first impression of the restaurant Manage restaurant reservation systems and walk-in seating efficiently to optimize table turnover Coordinate seating arrangements with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service Answer phone inquiries using proper phone etiquette, assisting with reservations and general questions Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and waiting areas Utilize restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to track reservations and seating status Support food safety protocols by adhering to hygiene standards and handling guest concerns promptly Qualifications Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on customer service excellence Familiarity with restaurant reservation management software and POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for managing reservations, waitlists, and guest counts Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices Organizational skills to manage seating flow and coordinate with team members effectively Join us if you're passionate about hospitality, enjoy engaging with guests, and thrive in lively environments!
