Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for our guests in our restaurants. In this vital role, you will create a warm and inviting atmosphere by greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth seating operations. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will set the tone for a memorable guest experience at our resort. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize flow and reduce wait times Answer guest inquiries via phone and in person with clarity and hospitality Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure guest needs are met promptly Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns courteously and professionally Experience Previous host or hostess experience in food service or restaurant settings preferred Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is advantageous Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of phone etiquette and guest relations best practices Previous experience serving or working in guest services enhances your suitability for this role
