Responsibilities Greet guests promptly with a friendly, positive attitude and manage guest seating arrangements efficiently Handle restaurant reservation management using industry-standard systems such as Aloha POS to optimize seating flow Manage waitlists and communicate wait times clearly via phone and in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills Assist with restaurant table management systems to ensure smooth seating transitions and minimize wait times Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, accommodating special requests, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction Maintain organized host stand operations, including managing reservation logs, walk-in queues, and guest flow Support food safety protocols by ensuring cleanliness and adherence to health standards in the host area Experience Prior host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferred Proven experience with restaurant reservation management and table management systems such as Aloha POS Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor Experience in food service or hospitality roles that emphasize guest relations and service excellence Basic math skills for handling reservations, seating calculations, and POS transactions Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is a plus Join us to bring your hospitality expertise to life!
