Seacliff Inn, a Tapestry Collection by Hilton, is looking for a Host/Hostess to join our team! We are looking for an energetic and cheerful Host/Hostess to greet and acknowledge all arriving guests and escort guests to their tables. The Host/Hostess will also be responsible for taking reservations and maintaining reservation book. Core functions of the position, but are not limited to the following; Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to guests. Cheerfully and courteously greet and escort guests to tables and assist in seating at tables; present menus and extend congenialities ensuring restaurant's standards of service. Assist in preparing the restaurant for service and maintaining the cleanliness of the dining room at all times. Assist in monitoring the guests' needs and all phases of the restaurant operations. Oversee all aspects of restaurant during absence of Restaurant Manager and/or Supervisor. Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items, specials, liquor/beer/non-alcoholic selections available in the restaurant. Maintain good guest relations by keeping abreast of all in-house and area functions in order to answer questions and concerns with timely and knowledgeable responses. Inspect tables and stations ensuring that all set ups meet the department standards. Check throughout meal period. Relay deficiencies to respective team members and follow up on corrections. Answer restaurant telephone courteously and efficiently as specified in department standards. Extend courteous departures as guests leave the restaurant. Ensure tables are cleaned and reset according to standards. Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department, restaurant and hotel. Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management. Pay:

$16.90 per hour
