Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and friendly Host / Cashier to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our establishment, creating a positive first impression for all guests. You will manage reservations, greet customers with enthusiasm, and handle cashier responsibilities efficiently. Your passion for hospitality and excellent communication skills will ensure every guest feels valued and appreciated from the moment they arrive. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and satisfaction Answer phone inquiries with clear, courteous communication, providing accurate information about our services Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process payments accurately and efficiently Handle cash register transactions, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, and seating adjustments to enhance their experience Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area and cashier station Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction during busy periods Qualifications Previous experience as a host/hostess or cashier in a food service or restaurant setting preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively Familiarity with POS systems is highly desirable Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Hospitality or hotel experience is a plus but not required Demonstrated ability to work well within a team and provide exceptional guest experiences Join us and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering memorable experiences!
