You will be responsible for setting the tone of the guest experience, handling transactions smoothly, and ensuring our busy takeaway operations run without a hitch.

Key Responsibilities Guest Hospitality:

Welcome guests warmly to the Epicurious Garden space, explain our ordering format, answer menu questions, and coordinate seating at our 11-seat sushi counter or garden patio.

Order & Cash Handling:

Accurately input custom sushi orders into the POS system, process payments, and maintain an organized cash drawer.

Takeout Coordination:

Manage and organize incoming digital orders (web and third-party delivery). Meticulously pack orders to protect delicate sushi/sashimi trays and ensure smooth handoffs.

Kiosk Upkeep:

Maintain a clean, inviting counter area and keep our grab-and-go cooler sections stocked with ready-made items and beverages.

What We Are Looking For Experience:

1-2+ years of customer service or front-of-house hospitality experience (prior cash-handling, POS experience, or exposure to sushi/Japanese cuisine is a major plus!).

Pace & Multitasking:

Ability to stay calm, focused, and friendly during high-volume lunch and dinner rushes.

Team Player:

A reliable, punctual individual with strong communication skills who thrives in a collaborative team environment.

Availability:

Flexibility to work a mix of shifts, including essential weekend and evening hours.
