As a Host, you will be the welcoming face of our restaurant and create a positive first impression for every guest. You will provide exceptional customer service while managing reservations, seating, waitlists, and overall guest flow. Your friendly personality, strong communication skills, and organizational abilities will help create a smooth and memorable dining experience from the moment guests arrive. Duties Greet guests warmly and provide a friendly and professional first impression Manage restaurant reservations and guest seating efficiently Coordinate seating arrangements based on guest preferences and table availability Maintain an organized waitlist and clearly communicate estimated wait times to guests Answer incoming phone calls professionally and assist with reservations and general inquiries Manage guest flow and ensure guests are seated in a timely and organized manner Communicate effectively with servers, managers, and other team members regarding seating and table availability Assist guests with questions and provide excellent customer service Maintain a clean and organized host stand and entrance area Follow restaurant policies and procedures while maintaining professional hospitality standards Skills Previous experience as a Host/Hostess in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Friendly, professional, and welcoming personality Ability to communicate with guests professionally and handle guest concerns appropriately Strong organizational and multitasking skills Ability to manage reservations, waitlists, and multiple guest requests efficiently Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment Experience with restaurant reservation and table management systems is a plus Reliable, responsible, and able to work well as part of a team Join the Kalbi Social Club Brea team and help us create a welcoming and memorable dining experience for every guest!
