Job Description

Job details Salary Pay is commensurate with experience but starts at $16 per hour. Job Type Part-time Our host or hostess is the first person that members and guests see and speak to once they enter our doors. We will rely upon our host or hostess to courteously greet our members and guests upon arrival, assist with getting them appropriately signed in, and to diplomatically and courteously ensure that members and guests are following the House Rules upon entrance. Our ideal candidate would embody our club's visions to include a welcoming atmosphere and to foster experiences where enduring friendships are made and families flourish. The values of our host or hostess would include integrity, respect, dedication, reliability and positivity and ease in using discretion and diplomacy.
Job duties include:
o Have good knowledge of the design of the club and House Rules. o Enthusiastically and courteously greet members and guests upon arrival into the clubhouse and set the positive tone for their upcoming club experience. o Review membership cards upon arrival. o Manage that guests are properly signed in, accompanied by members, if appropriate, and properly wearing guest badges upon entry. o Assist with implementation of House Rules. o Assist our members and guests in seating, if needed, and ask members to share tables, if appropriate. o Ensure that alcoholic beverages are not removed from the club. o Report to management any issues or significant violations of House Rules. o Execute pre and post shift responsibilities as defined in an efficient manner for set up or clean up. o Assist the club in other administrative functions as needed. o Dress in casual business attire (no jeans, shorts or flip flops).
Qualifications and Requirements:
o Reliable and punctual. o Possess excellent customer service and communication skills with an engaging attitude. o Ability to maintain a friendly and cheerful demeanor irrespective of situation. o Possess exceptional decision making skills. o Use discretion as needed to support the club's purposes, goals and rules. o Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
