Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and efficient seating arrangements. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. Duties Greet guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage the flow of guests into the restaurant, coordinating seating arrangements to optimize service efficiency. Utilize Aloha POS system to manage reservations and waitlists effectively. Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations. Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area. Handle guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of guest relations. Support other team members during busy periods by helping with various tasks as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A friendly demeanor with an eagerness to help guests have an enjoyable dining experience.
