In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth dining experience. Your exceptional customer service skills will play a vital role in enhancing guest satisfaction and fostering repeat visits. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover. Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions. Maintain a clean and organized host/host station. Answer phone calls promptly, taking reservations or providing information about the restaurant. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy. Assist in maintaining the overall ambiance of the restaurant, ensuring it aligns with our hospitality standards. Skills Previous Host/Host experience is preferred, along with a background in food service or restaurant environments. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members. Familiarity with POS systems. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of phone etiquette to handle reservations and inquiries professionally. Experience in hotel guest services is a plus but not required. A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
