The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage reservations and seating efficiently. Responsibilities Greet guests as they arrive, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere. Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize dining flow. Assist guests with inquiries regarding menu items, specials, and restaurant policies. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area. Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Handle phone calls with professionalism, addressing guest inquiries and taking reservations. Provide assistance to guests as needed, ensuring their needs are met throughout their visit. Skills Proficient in using POS systems, including TOAST POS, for managing orders and payments. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality. Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and guest inquiries. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment within the restaurant or hotel industry. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for helping others and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
