Responsibilities Greet guests warmly with enthusiasm and professionalism, setting a positive tone for their visit Manage restaurant reservation systems and walk-in seating to optimize table utilization and minimize wait times Answer incoming phone calls with courteous phone etiquette, providing accurate information and taking reservations when needed Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely seating and efficient guest flow throughout the dining area Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station, including menus, reservation logs, and waiting lists Assist with guest inquiries regarding menu items, restaurant policies, or special requests using excellent communication skills Support food safety standards by adhering to hygiene protocols and ensuring a welcoming environment at all times Experience Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally and courteously Familiarity with restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Experience in food service or hospitality roles that involve guest relations and serving is beneficial Basic math skills for managing reservations, waitlists, and billing processes accurately Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods Knowledge of phone communication best practices and maintaining positive guest interactions over the phone Join our vibrant team where your welcoming personality and organizational talents will shine!
