Each year nearly 1000 high school students from around the world participate in international exchange through
PAX. PAX
is seeking a Second Visit Representative (SVR) to conduct brief site visits to host family homes in and around Merced, CA. This is a part-time, independent contractor position. The Second Visitor makes a brief visit to the host family home after the exchange student has arrived in the community. The purpose of the visit is to ensure that the student is living in a safe environment. Second Visitors are given a checklist of items to look for during their visit and submit a brief report online after completing the visit.
Ideal candidates:
Parents, teachers, retirees, college students, or another responsible community member Professional appearance and communication skills Previous experience working with high school students or families a plus Candidates must have: Reliable car (most visits are not accessible by public transportation) Computer and internet access, since assignments are sent by email and reports must be submitted online Ability to pass a criminal background check Candidates are required to submit an online application and background check and complete a short training module online before starting the position. This is an independent contractor position that is paid per visit. The visits take 10-15 minutes (plus driving time) and you receive $100 for each visit completed.
