We are seeking a warm, polished, and hospitality-driven Host to be the first and lasting impression for our guests. This is a tipped position offering $16.90/hour and the opportunity to work in one of Maui's most iconic culinary destinations.

Position Overview:

As a Host, you are the face of the restaurant—welcoming each guest with genuine hospitality, managing the flow of the dining room, and ensuring a seamless and elevated experience from arrival to departure.

Requirements:

Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred. A friendly, motivated, and energetic personality with a team-first mindset. Excellent communication skills and the ability to speak English fluently. Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities:

Greet and seat guests warmly and professionally while managing the reservation system. Assist management and service staff with guest needs using a proactive and positive approach. Communicate effectively with both front-of-house and back-of-house teams to enhance the overall guest experience. Demonstrate strong knowledge of the menu and restaurant operations. Maintain a neat, clean, and polished appearance in accordance with Morimoto brand standards. Occasionally assist in carrying plates or drinks, as needed. Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
