GED Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are looking for a Lobby Ambassador/Bellperson to join The Sheraton Palo Alto team. This is a full-time, hourly Hospitality/Restaurant position located in Palo Alto, California. As the Lobby Ambassador/Bellperson, you will be the point of contact for our guests, by providing exceptional service to exceed their expectations.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a salary based position paying $22 per hour with regular bi-weekly payrolls. Benefits include medical, vision, dental and life insurance and vacation/sick/holiday leave.
Responsibilities:
Greet guests and guide them to their destination while ensuring they have a positive experience. Act as a source of information and act accordingly on all questions and/or requests from guests. Assist with baggage handling and check-ins. Monitor the activity of public areas within the hotel, such as the lobby, guest lounges and other common areas. Ensure the safety of guests and staff at all times. Respond to any emergency situations and/or special requests as needed. Serve as and perform other duties based on hotel needs from time to time.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a hospitality role preferred. Excellent customer service skills. Positive and upbeat attitude. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to perform and maintain high levels of physical activity for the duration of the shift.
