Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlists efficiently using OpenTable or similar reservation systems Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Assist with bussing tables by clearing dishes, resetting tables quickly, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area Support food runners by delivering dishes from kitchen to table efficiently and safely Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for bills and tips Uphold food safety standards by following sanitation protocols, proper food handling procedures, and maintaining a clean work environment Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries, upselling menu items to enhance guest experience, and fostering positive guest relations Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy nights or special events such as nightclub evenings or private parties Experience Previous experience in food service roles such as server, host/hostess, busser, or food runner preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Experience working in fine dining environments or high-volume restaurants is advantageous Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is desirable Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations confidently Experience with reservation platforms such as OpenTable is beneficial Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering outstanding dining experiences!
