In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere while managing the flow of customers and processing transactions. Your exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail will ensure that each guest has a positive dining experience. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly as they arrive and guide them to their tables. Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently to optimize seating arrangements. Take customer orders accurately and enter them into the POS system. Process payments swiftly. Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area. Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service delivery. Provide excellent guest relations through effective communication and hospitality. Skills Previous Host/Host experience is preferred, along with a background in food service or restaurant environments. Cantonese or Chinese cuisine is a major plus. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members. Familiarity with POS systems. Experience in hotel settings or guest services is advantageous. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Knowledge of serving techniques and hospitality best practices is beneficial. Proficient phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries over the phone.
