Job Description

October 1, 2024 This Host is responsible for greeting and seating guests.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet all guests entering the restaurant. Seat guests in accordance with established seating arrangements. Answer any questions guests may have. Assist guests with any special needs that may arise. Take and fill drink orders for guests. Assist Busser with duties when necessary. Follow all company procedures and health regulations at all times. Must attend and be certified in all applicable training programs required. This position may require cross-training of both front and back of the house daily operations of the Food and Beverage Department. All other departmental duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Must have excellent guest service skills Must be able to carry out tasks with or without limited supervision. Must be able to obtain and retain a gaming license through the Tule River Tribe Gaming Commission.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL
While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk and hear. Repeatedly required use arm, hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, walk, and to stand for extended periods of time. Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work in a noisy and fast paced environment. Noise level is moderate to high on the casino floor. Exposed daily to flashing lights, ringing bells, and cigarette smoke. Must be able to perform all essential duties of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
