Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional hospitality and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for guest services, as you will be responsible for managing reservations, greeting guests, and coordinating seating arrangements in a busy restaurant environment. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover. Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions. Answer phone calls with professionalism, assisting with reservations and inquiries. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow. Address guest concerns promptly and effectively, enhancing their dining experience. Maintain cleanliness of the host/host station and dining area. Assist in training new staff members on guest service standards and procedures. Experience Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Strong guest relations skills with the ability to handle inquiries and complaints gracefully. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and a genuine desire to help others are key attributes for success in this role.
