Job Description

We're hiring seasonal team members to help bring the San Clemente Pumpkin & Harvest Festival to life! We are looking for friendly, reliable, energetic people who enjoy working with the public and can keep a positive attitude in a busy event environment. You don't need years of experience—we're looking for people who are dependable, willing to learn, can think on their feet, and are comfortable interacting with guests.     • 9:30 PM Note work hours normally start one (1) hour before open.
    Weekend, evening, and holiday availability is mandatory for these positions. Positions Available Food Cashier Take guest orders, operate the POS system, accept cash/card payments, count cash and make change, and help keep the food service area moving efficiently. Ticket Collector / Gate Attendant Collect and check admission or attraction tickets, verify tickets, answer basic guest questions, and help keep guests moving through designated entry points. Inflatable Attendant Monitor bounce houses and inflatable attractions, make sure guests follow safety rules, manage capacity and turns, and keep the attraction area safe and organized. Petting Zoo Attendant Monitor the petting zoo, assist guests with animal interactions, enforce safety rules, help keep the area clean and organized, and report any animal or guest concerns to management. Game Attendant Operate carnival-style games, explain game rules, assist guests, handle tickets when applicable, distribute prizes, and keep the game area clean and organized. Exit Employee Assist guests as they leave the event, direct foot traffic, check that pumpkins are paid for, and stamp re-entry stamps. What We're Looking For

    • Reliable and punctual
    • Positive attitude and willingness to help
    • Good communication and problem-solving skills
    • Able to stay calm and helpful during busy periods
    • Able to stand and work on your feet for extended periods
    • Comfortable working outdoors
    • Must be able to accurately count cash and make change
    • Previous cashier or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
    • Must be willing to follow event safety procedures and management instructions
