Duties Greet guests with a friendly and professional demeanor, providing excellent customer service from arrival to departure Manage restaurant reservations using reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accurate seating arrangements and waitlist management Escort guests to their tables promptly and assist with seating arrangements to maximize table utilization Handle phone inquiries with proper phone etiquette, taking reservations and answering questions about the menu or wait times Maintain organized waitlists and communicate wait times clearly to guests, demonstrating strong organizational skills Support food safety standards by ensuring cleanliness and adherence to health regulations in the host station area Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate guest seating efficiently and enhance overall guest experience Qualifications Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment is highly preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse guests and team members Experience with restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Basic math skills for handling reservations, seating calculations, and guest billing support Demonstrated customer service excellence and guest relations abilities Familiarity with food service operations and hospitality standards Ability to operate POS systems confidently, including Micros POS or similar platforms Excellent organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and guest flow effectively Knowledge of phone communication best practices and phone etiquette Commitment to food safety practices and maintaining a clean work environment Join us in creating memorable dining experiences by providing top-notch guest services in a lively, welcoming setting.
