As the first point of contact, you'll set the tone for every guest's visit—creating a warm welcome, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth flow from arrival to seating. Your friendly demeanor and strong communication skills will help every guest feel valued and at home. Key Responsibilities Greet guests with a genuine smile and guide them to their tables. Manage reservations and seating charts to keep service running efficiently. Maintain a clean, inviting host stand and entrance area. Use Toast POS (or similar) to check in guests and organize reservations. Respond to guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally. Work closely with servers and the rest of the team to deliver seamless service. Experience & Qualifications Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred, but not required. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Familiarity with Toast POS or similar systems is a plus. Excellent communication and multitasking abilities. Calm, positive, and team-oriented—especially in fast-paced situations.
