Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage their seating arrangements efficiently Handle restaurant reservation management using various table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Maintain organized waitlists and communicate wait times clearly to guests via phone or in person Answer incoming phone calls with professional phone etiquette, providing information and taking reservations as needed Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely seating and guest flow Assist with guest relations by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly and courteously Support food safety protocols by maintaining cleanliness and adhering to hygiene standards in the host station Skills Proven experience as a host/hostess or in a customer service role within a restaurant or food service environment Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent phone etiquette Familiarity with restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Basic math skills for handling reservations, waitlist calculations, and cash handling if required Exceptional organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and guest flow efficiently Knowledge of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices in hospitality settings Ability to remain energetic, positive, and professional in a fast-paced environment Previous experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred Embark on a rewarding journey in hospitality where your enthusiasm makes every guest feel special.
