In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere from the moment they arrive. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will ensure guests feel valued and comfortable, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. You will manage reservations, coordinate seating arrangements, and assist with guest inquiries, all while maintaining a high level of organization and professionalism. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression Manage restaurant reservation systems and seating charts efficiently using restaurant table management Coordinate guest seating to optimize flow and minimize wait times while accommodating special requests Answer incoming phone calls with courteous phone etiquette, assisting with reservations and general inquiries Maintain organized waiting lists and communicate wait times clearly to guests Support food service staff by managing guest flow and ensuring timely seating arrangements Uphold food safety standards and cleanliness protocols in all guest interactions and station areas Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Previous experience as a host/hostess or in a customer service role within a restaurant or food service environment preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to handle phone calls professionally and courteously Basic math skills for managing reservations and seating counts Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tables, reservations, and guest requests simultaneously Demonstrated hospitality experience with a focus on guest relations and service excellence Ability to maintain composure in busy settings while providing outstanding guest service
