In person Job Summary Lokma is looking for a friendly, energetic, and experienced Host / Hostess to join our team. As the first and last point of contact for our guests, you will play an important role in creating a warm and welcoming dining experience. We are looking for someone who is confident, organized, personable, and comfortable working in a busy, high-volume restaurant. The ideal candidate has previous restaurant hosting experience, communicates well with both guests and the service team, and can manage reservations, waitlists, and table flow efficiently during busy services. Weekend availability is required. Responsibilities Warmly greet and welcome guests as they arrive. Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating throughout service. Coordinate table flow with servers, bussers, and managers. Accurately provide wait-time estimates during busy periods. Answer phone calls and assist guests with reservations and general questions. Manage guest requests and seating preferences professionally. Maintain an organized and welcoming host stand and entrance area. Assist with opening and closing host duties. Communicate clearly with the management and service team throughout the shift. Help create a positive and memorable experience for every guest. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of restaurant host/hostess experience required . Experience in a busy or high-volume restaurant strongly preferred. Friendly, outgoing, and professional personality. Strong communication and customer service skills. Comfortable speaking with guests in person and over the phone. Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy services. Reliable, punctual, and able to remain calm under pressure. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Experience with OpenTable or other reservation/waitlist systems is a plus . Fluent or strong conversational English preferred. Must be available on weekends. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality and interacting with people.
